This is how a corgi stays cool in the Oklahoma summer!
So, everyday Emma and I would go take morning Off-Leash walks on the Beach. It was so nice and relaxing.
She behaved well on walks all week. But, on one of our last days, Emma takes off from me, while I’m yelling at her to come back. She’s totally not listening, I panic..and then she picks something off the ground - a Coconut Shell. This derpy dog then proceeded to carry that entire thing around the beach on our walk, and all the way back to the house. We named the Coconut - “Coco” (short for Glen Coco).
We sadly had to leave “Coco” behind at the Beach House. But, I got her a new fresh “Coco” when we got back home. Guess what? She smelled it and walked off…
I bet you it didn’t smell as nearly as delicious as the coconut she found on the beach.
If I took Pudge to the beach and let him go off leash… he’d eat ALL the things. And probably roll in them all too.
Look at that drool!
Pudge is a huge drooler. I’ve never seen another corgi drool so much until now.
Fun fact: corgi drool adds some “shine” to hardwood floors. Step 1: have corgi drool. Step 2: clean up corgi drool. Step 3: buff to a nice new shine.

Hint: Your corgi NEEDS a pool.
Watson and Gabriel had a blast on their first beach expedition!
Dr. Corgreud’s corgioanalysis of the movie cleverly titled “Corgi Flop”. Corgi goes vertical… but can’t go horizontal. Btw? Don’t have anything in your mouth when you watch this. I almost choked.
Corgi Addict, it’s OK that you think you’re Superman on the way up.
But you need to accept that on the way down, you are really Stephen Hawking.
It’ll help you land.
