for those of you who are old enough to drink and young enough to still care to celebrate the new year — i suggest make like corgis and avoid stairs at all costs. 

it’s ok little corgis. they are just stairs. that’s just snow. it’ll be OK!

poor cardi poopster meets his first stair-like challenge. i totally understand how this corgi perceives his adorable dilemma. 

if any of you are from the Great Lakes region then you know what “lake effect” means in the winter. it means you are EFF’d if you are on the “wrong side” of the lake. 

i was definitely on the wrong side of the lake this evening. let’s just say if you catch yourself thinking “oooh shiny” to the road in freezing conditions it’s probably what they call “black ice”.

i can elegantly hydroplane across enormous puddles. i can drift with controlled purpose in the snow. and i can parallel park any kind of car or truck into the tightest of spaces without getting flicked off by the entire city for taking too long. but ice skating on wheels for 60 miles? no likey. not fun. 

 i had all the corgis flash before my eyes today. i’m OK. i will live another day to post corgis. :)

PS - YOU CAN DOOOOOO EET CORGI! I BELIEEEEEVE IN YOUUUUUU!!!
