… can you find baby Simon? ;) REALLY baby Simon? He’s one day old here.
Photograph courtesy of his breeder. <3
Omg a whole litter of blues and a tri? LOOK AT THE WEE POTATOES! They aren’t even corgis yet! Just wee potatoes!!
Simon is… the third head from the bottom? Laying on top of the other blue next to the tri?? IS THAT BABIEST SIMON!?
Rub a dub, Simon’s so in the tub!
I know the following Simon Secrets:
If you scratch him in his “spot” he chews his front paw!
Simon says bark, indeed. He has a lot to say!
Simon is actually smaller than Pudge (in length, not in width, but if you count Pudge’s ploof then yes, he’s wider, hahaha). Simon is built like a linebacker of corgis. Or a dwarf Michael Phelps. Wide upper body, teeny tiny dainty hips with a huge WOOSH of the tail and perfect butt feathers.
Simon’s fur is very soft. Maybe because he likes baths!
He really does love the camera. He thinks that cameras are pretty great!
Went over to Seattle to meet Story - http://storythecorgi.tumblr.com/ (and his awesome owner <3 ) and Corgiaddict (aka Pudgemomma!) XD http://corgiaddict.com/
Know what I love about Corgi people? They totally all laugh when your dog starts barking at the top of his lungs since he’s so delighted to meet. <3 That and… Corgi people are the best people. You feel totally comfortable around them in five seconds and in ten seconds you’re all covered in dog hair and talking about awesome coffee and places to go!!
You guys are the best… <3 Thank you for making Si’s whole day (and mine too! XD) It’s neat when everything comes full circle and you meet folks and dogs who have been a big part of your life (and yes, I consider Tumblr friends and their dogs a life! <3 XD ) I am so delighted to have finally spent time with you —- and hopefully your ears will stop ringing with Simon’s barks. ;)
… there’s a reason he’s named Simon Sez, it’s not because he has a volume switch at times! XD <3
Also, a shout out to one of Simon’s followers who said hello in Seattle! <3 You made me just grin with erasing your friend’s wedding pic so that you could take a picture of him! XD <3
I am still gushing. And still cannot believe I got to meet Simon and his amazing corgmama. I’ve been following Simon since he was a wee one starting on mycorgi and deviant art, then seeing her photography at the Cardigan National in Houston. Simon is the first Cardigan that I fell in love with, head over heels about 4-5 years ago. And the Cardi Crew got me interested in the breed. So happy I got to meet them. As you can see, I was out with not one but two beautiful blue merles. Story is so snorgable! I totally hit the corgi jackpot yesterday. Everyone wanted to say hi to these babies.
Today was basically the best day EVER. I got to meet THE Corgi Addict AKA Pudgemama and Simon of Simonsaysbark along with his super amazing owner. I love you girls vastly
I couldn’t bring Pudge so I brought mini Pudge. Meeting these two corgmamas contributed vastly to one of the greatest days ever. I got Simon AND Story kisses. Only way it could have been more perfecter is if Pudge could be there to outbark those two. Simon’s head is actually that big in real life. And Story is a little more than a half a Pudge. Both babies and corgmamas were amazing. I am covered in their fur, they shed waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay more than Pudge. Now… To master my cloning techniques…. To the laboratory!
Also, a personal note, I’ve spent 3 months in Seattle and never ever saw the sun. Today the sun was shining bright.
No kisses for you, Simon. XD
They’d be exfoliating corgi kisses!! The latest in corgi lady beauty!
Corgi puppy Friday…
Baby Simon. <3
You have got to be kidding me.
He can’t even walk with those paws they are so huge!
Well, I was going to take a picture of the Cardigan Corgi Squishable and say — this is so adorable!
Apparently Simon was displeased with the squishable getting the camera time. XD
(I was pretty impressed with his expression. “Look at me, I can do exactly what THAT is doing! Now come hug me, please.)
Simon is the One True Squishable. The other thing is an imposter
Hahah, aw, I’m a huge custom collar fan, so… I have to say I love to find people who do great work. This is an awesome custom collar from Ella’s Lead and an equally awesome custom tag from Aggie’s Anvil. I love the finish work on all these; super heavy duty and really gorgeous. What’s super cool? Aggie’s Anvil also has Cardigan Corgis and we had an awesome geek out moment together on dogs. ;)
Awww Autobot! SIMON! SIMONBOT!
Corgi puppy Friday!
Simon> Booped your nose!!!
Ralph> o.O ??
Poor Ralph, that tongue is the size of his head. I know how he feels, yuck!
Simon says Ralph has a flavor. Puppy flavor.
