One of my favorite corgasaurs, Gillie, crossed the Rainbow Bridge yesterday.
She was a champion show dog who was rescued from the show ring by a family who gave her endless love, affection and treats — the greatest life a dog could ever want.
RIP dearest Gillie. You were very much loved and adored by all. You will be missed.
Oh Gillie, even though your ears say no, I know your heart says yes. You are so BAROOOTIFUL!
Today Gillie is in the spotlight for The Daily Corgi’s Faces of DM series. Read her story here: clickie! Gillie has degenerative myelopathy, diagnosed 1 year ago. Unfortunately, it is a disease that runs in corgis. Gillie and her mum are both brave for facing this disease, and doing everything they can to make Gillie’s life as corgilicious as it can be.
A one eared salute to Gillie and her corgmama!
“God speed the scientists who are working for the cure. We will beat DM!”
