Dearest Darlingest Corgiest of Addicts,
You all have no idea how much I love being CA. Every single day you all amaze me with such wonderful submissions, amazing thoughtful emails, creative ideas and fantastic challenging questions. I LOVE hosting this tumblr and I LOVE interacting with all of you. I am so sorry life is crazy right now and I am behind on posting quite a few pictures and responding a few emails.
BUT! Without further delay I present to you … the dancing corgi lobster duo. When I saw it on my droid while out in the car with my family getting the turkey — I shrieked with such delight I almost caused an accident. I was so surprised, amazed and touched that this awesome totally ridiculous corgi dancing with lobster celebration landed in my inbox. In my eyes — it’s perfect. I didn’t know it was exactly what I wanted until I saw it. I hope you guys giggle just like I did.
-CA
PS - there are FOUR corgi + lobster dance moves, 2x2, scroll down to see the pair on the right.
MOAR about the dancing lobster corgi duo artist:
My name is Angela Kau-Forsberg. I was born in Milwaukee and seem to be migrating northeast the last 7 years. I graduated from University of Wisconsin Stevens Point with a BA Fine Arts. My husband and I married November 29, 2009 and we are about to celebrate our 26th birthdays together on January 9 — we are 7 hours apart in age! Recently, my husband was laid off and currently we are both unemployed. Although I do have my shop, Unlimited Glass Works, on etsy (with an awesome Corgi claws painting for sale!).
I draw, paint, sculpt corgis because of two reasons: growing up I fell in love with Ein from Cowboy Bebop, and my mother had a Dachshund/Corgi mix named Trudi that acted VERY corgi like.
Someday, when my life is stable, we will have a corgi of our very own. Until then, I will just keep making corgis (not that I would stop making them once I have my own corgi). The site where I display my general work is http://caresse-par-la-lumie.deviantart.com/. I mostly do what makes me happy.
