Sunday — last day for the Simon “omg” faces, awwww… <3
(This is my personal favorite pic with the best face. <3 It’s the “OMG you whistled and here I come soaked in water and mud face! WOO, stream, woo hiking, wooooo, I’m full of joy!”)
Yeah, I got two snaps in before I got soaked. Doofus.
Totally worth it.
So with the little Caleb in the background, we start Caleb week tomorrow! ;)
Corgi puppy Friday is totally interrupted by Simon’s Omgface week. It will return next week, promise!!
Simon loves his dad. ;) With dad, he’s always a puppy at heart…
Simon. Most expressive corgi ever.
Baxter is battling a mystery illness and still needs $720 to help with the diagnosis. Click here to read his story and learn how you can help! http://www.corgipals.org/Fundraisers/HelpingPaws/Baxter2.aspx

montgomery “monty” pybus poses for his office bio pic. he works at a new york ad agency. he’s integral to the overall success of the organization. yes, he is.
From up in a tree, this is the “Omg, it’s almost like I have legs and can see for miles!” face.
And yes, he totally likes climbing trees. Anything Simon can climb for a better vantage point, he’s happy. XD
OMG — running REALLY fast!
Simon pretty much never trots. It’s going from point a to b at a dead gallop that he loves best.
I LOVE SIMON FACE WEEK!!!!
Swimming, OMG!!! :D
Yep, that’s never going to get him on Baywatch, that face. XD
Oh summer, how we’ve missed thee! ;)
Mab in the bath
I want that ball give me that ball mine mine MINE wait why are you throwing my ball I’ll bring it back!
Vine videos are uber fun!
Simon totally loves his beach time. ;)
Simon just may be the most expressive corgi of all time. LOOK AT HIS FACE
there’s a fantastic blossoming cherry tree on our walk. i plunked Dori onto the stone wall for an impromptu photo shoot. she was thankful for the reprieve, but completely disregarded the camera. what a diva.
Dori! You so pretty!
GUINNESS POST, GUINNESS POST! Look at the baby becoming a handsome, happy boy!
Okay, just for fun — and I apologize for stretching anything. :/ I’m hoping that Tumbr magically puts these under a cut. Really.
I have so many people tell me that “NO, these aren’t Corgis,” because of their color, shape, and tail. Yep! They are, honest! My dogs are all Corgis. They are Cardigan Corgis, which is a different breed than all the Pembroke Corgis that most folks usually see.
Here’s Tempe, on a little growth progression from day one… last shot was taken a month ago. Yup, all corgi. The show photo was actually taken when she was out with a professional handler for a bit to go show in California with Caleb. Pardon her nose looking darker in that shot (it isn’t) same dog, she got sunburned really bad on a trip to the beach, poor kid and had to wear SPF 50 on her nose for the rest of the trip. :/ Yep, there’s some drawbacks to her cute little butterfly nose! ;)
Also - yes, Cardigans DO come in fluffy. It’s a coat fault - basically a recessive gene that causes them to have a non-standard fluffball of a coat. Doesn’t hurt the dogs at all, nothing wrong with it. In fact, you can test for it - Temperance carries the fluff gene but does not have a fluffy coat. Her brother and sister did- and then one sister doesn’t carry it at all. Kinda neat!
Cardigan corgis are corgis. Just look for the stumpers.
Dwarf dogs rule! Dogs with legs drool!
