We had to put our princess to sleep today. It’s amazing how special dogs become in our lives. I was lucky enough to be there when Starlight was born, and she was a wonderful dog for every day of her 11.5 years. A wise church billboard once told me “Don’t be sad that it ended, be glad that it happened”. She will ALWAYS hold a special place in our hearts and we will ALWAYS be glad she happened to us.
