I have a question about corgi colors. I have a dog who is obviously part corgi (other half chihuahua, maybe?), and after doing some research, I determined that his coloring probably comes from his non-corgi half, as everything I read says that corgis don't come in black and white. Yet...I've seen black and white corgis on your site! Is it simply an undesirable color, or was the information I read outdated/incorrect? Or do cardigans and pembrokes have different variations, and I was reading the wronge one? Confused!

AnonymousThey DO come in black and white. More variations in color come from the Cardigan side of the family. Not only do Cardigans come in all variations of Pemmie red, but they also come in black/white, brindle, and blue merles! There’s an adorable sibling pair that come in black/white. Let me try to find the photos. :)

7 hours agoCardigans do NOT come in black and white. It is genetically impossible. There is always some brindle or tan, even if it is barely visible.
