The progression of docfur visits. My little nugget is growing up so fast! We’ve gone from 7 pounds to almost 16. He may end up being a little meatball.
MEATBALL! Too cute.

theubermenschthatmakesyoucry asked: Thank you for all the lovely corgi photos! So i'm hoping to adopt a corgi really soon. I've been researching over a year, now own my own home, have a fenced in backyard that will be checked over(I don't underestimate the ability of a corgi puppy to squeeze through a hole!). My only confusion is, how do corgis do with cats? If raised with them from a young age, does that work? I would love any tips! I found a breeder nearby and will be emailing her soon.

Corgis and cats live together in relative peace often! Sometimes they even become the best of snuggly friends (or you know, don’t outright murder each other)! Sometimes the cats have utter disdain for their stumpy roommates, but it can happen. Make sure that your cat has somewhere that they can go to be free of the new puppy, a “cats only safe haven,” make sure you pay attention to your feline friend so they don’t feel ignored, and introduce your cat and your corgi slowly. Make sure to work on a solid “leave it” or some other command to curb your pup from trying to herd or wrestle a cat that just isn’t having it.
Some cats take better to dogs than others, some never really learn to “love” their new corgsiblings, but with a little work and a little patience you should be able to make it work or at the very least live in peace!
